Well, at the risk of puttin' someofya to sleep....there are now 5 national polls that show the American people, by over 55%, think that the government would be better run by the party currently out of power....

Only 30 some odd percent think that the Republicans, in the elections next year, deserve to hold the House or the Senate.

Wonder what happened....?  Could it be....

1.  Current leadership displays of INCOMPETENCE?

2.  Current leadership displays of OVER SPENDING (This president, in 5 years, has not found ONE spending bill, produced by the Republican Congress, that he found needed to be vetoed.  Not ONE BILL vetoed by this president.  He aint never seen spending, of any kind, he didn't love.  And these are the guys that feel that the government is "out of control".  Well, for once, they are right....

3.  Current leadership displays of over- committment in Iraq.  The conception is over committed.  The military presence is far, far under committed.  There are two thousand dead in two years.  They aren't worried about that....why...?  Well, at Shiloh, during the Civil War, 7000 died in .....TWENTY MINUTES......so, current leadership feels we are way ahead of that game....such enlightened thinking......

4.  Current leaderships belief that any and everything that they do is Ordained By Heaven.  They are almost as bad as the Bin Ladens of the world.  They justify everything that they do....and I mean everything, based how they are "led" by Jesus.  Fascinating......scary and incredible...but .... fascinating.....

5.  Lack of real "Best and Brightest" intellect at the highest levels.  These guys, ... a group of "C" students, being led by another group of "C" students.....where are the thinkers?  This bunch is led by idealogues....they allow no room for dissent.....if they were forced to listen, at a high level, by a different point of view (Colin Powell, for instance), they maneuver that persons resignation.  If you disagree with policy, they do their best to ruin you, or, at worst, (CIA leak) risk your life.

Who are these people and how in the world did the population of this country get to be so dumbed up?
